Wouldn't it still be the same game?

Yep. Why I put the "Flame Shield" thing, I'll never know.

Splatterhouse 2 + Quest for Glory IV (self explanatory?)

The Immortal + Galaga (You fall into a hole and all of a sudden you're playing galaga?)

Rocket Knight Adventures + The Witcher (enough said)

Act Raiser 2 + Demon's Crest (2 Players at once, or both merged into one?)

Dragon's Revenge + Shinobi 3 (Shinobi is the pinball and you can use all of his moves and control him)

Warcraft 2 + Diablo 1 (leading groups of WC2 units into the catacombs?)

The Elder Scrolls + EarthBound (Should take TES into a present-day setting, since the EB games are set in the present)
The Elder Scrolls + The Sims (oh wait, perhaps The Sims Medieval is this already  )
Super Mario Bros Crossover + Abobo's Big Adventure (8-bit NES nostalgia to the max! )

She-Ra (or He-man) + Batman Akrham City: You play as a member of the Great Rebelian (and maybe in some parts you play as Adora and or She-Ra) fighting against Hordak's Army.

I'd play it.

On a related note:
  • Care Bears and Left 4 Dead
  • Strawberry Shortcake and Amnesia
  • My Little Pony and Fallout (already been done in fan fiction)

We call that Happy Tree Friends
