I was flicking through the channels one Friday Night and an episode of "Later with Jools Holland" is playing on BBC 2.

Sometimes there are some brilliant performances. Sometimes there are some brilliant artists.

Lots of times there are a bunch of bands filling space.

That night I stumbled accross this and was mesmerized:

The moment they hit the chorus in the first song you can actually feel every other artist in the room going "damn..."

Are they big in the states?

I can't find their CD in local shops but you can get them online.

I passed a few on at Christmas and everyone who heard them was like "Where did they come from"?

Probably not to everyone's taste but it's nice to be surprised every now and then.

I agree with the Youtube comments though, her legs are amazing.

Pretty good. Girl is pretty, nice harmonies. I was thought this was about actual civil wars.

Meh, it was kinda average. I didn't enjoy it, but at least it didn't offend my ears like most music people post on here.

Thought this thread would involve people from the Southern USA complaining, pleasantly surprised.

First time I've heard of them, and they're awesome. Kind of remind me of a more bluesy indie folk band like Fleet Foxes. The beard helps this.

Didn't really like the first song; their singing style is unique but kind of odd - however, the other two songs in the link were great! Really liked their cover of Billie Jean, quite unexpected.

And yeah, great gams too.

Not terrible I suppose, but I am not impressed. And what the hell is that girl doing with her arms all the time? Nice legs though.

I do kind of like that Repugnant song.
