So I found this website called http://www.woot.com/ and its daily deal is a Razer gaming mouse. I'm wondering if Razer is any good.

I'm not sure. I saw it at PAX once and it seemed cool. But if you are a Portal fan, then the Razer comes with a free map pack with puzzles that can only be completed using the Razer, assuming I'm thinking of the right mouse.

I had the original boomslang and it was a comfortable mouse, if a bit low-slung. I imagine these later-generation mice have more going for them, and $30 does seem like a good price if you need a new mouse . . . . but if you don't I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading.

I just picked up a pair of razer head phones to replace a pair that broke and so far I love them. They're neon green, which is a bit silly, but I can't complain about the quality or the specs.

I once went through four mice in one year due to unsatifactory performance from various manufacturers.

I have a Razer gaming mouse. It's the diamondback, best money I EVER spent. It's lasted thru being dropped, many many clicks and it just keeps going. And I LOVE woot, Lots of things in my house from there. . Yeah If woot advertises it, it's pretty good.

Got a Razer Copperhead... it's served me well these past few years

Had a Razor for 2-3 years. My stompy FPS trigger finger did the left mouse butotn in though. Also despite using a mouse pad the bottom sticker of it started to peel off and make my mouse pad dirty and gross looking. Not to mention it owuld stick just enough to irritate an otherwise smooth experience. Overall it was a damn good mouse while it lasted. It was the razer deathadder. As for performance? High sensitivity was good, but could also customize it to be lower. Overall a sleek and stylish mouse, the one I had was for righties though.

It works great for many different types of applications and as it is wireless, it's also rather convenient for gaming with HD projector while sitting on the sofa, etc.

I had a normal old Microsoft mouse for 5 years before the left button started to act up, clicking at random or not clicking at all. It was a good mouse, but I needed another. Eventually I get a http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice/devices/gaming-mouse-g300 and it has served me well. I like it, and the optional software that allows me to configure the mouse settings per individual games is useful.

Same. The improvement in precision over a standard mouse was considerable. Razer are great for gaming.

I have a Logitech G500, which I got recently for about €40. It's an oldie, but it's still great. Decently sized, extremely comfortable and responsive, and you can adjust it's weight to suit your own preferences.

I've got a Razer DeathAdder right now and love it. I'm going to upgrade to their Old Republic mouse eventually though.

It's not the brand of the mouse, but how you use it.

I used a DeathAdder for a few years until the middle mouse button (which I use religiously) started to fail sporadically. I have a Logitech MX518 now, and while I've grown fond of it already I still think the DeathAdder was more comfortable. The MX518 was cheaper and feels more solid, though. My only complaint about the DeathAdder was how cheap it felt, especially the flimsy plastic side buttons. I'm not sure if their other models fare better.

The buttons held up fine despite that, of course. But the gaps between them and the mouse were magnets for all sorts of crud.
