Does anyone have the IP Board App for the iPhone? When I look at the mobile version of the forum, there is a link on the bottom that states:

"Get the free IP Board App for the iPhone now!"

When you click on the link and it takes you to the ITunes store, it states:

"Your request could not be completed."

I can't seem to find it browsing the ITunes store either. Does anyone have any information on this? On your Settings page there is an option for notifications via a Mobile App; so there must be something, somewhere.

Well I'm guessing it is only an iPhone thing, since when I use my Android the Mobile Version is the default, also it isn't an app.

probably vaporware, wouldn't want such a frivolous app anyway, probably downloads your entire contacts list and browser history as well as GPS coordinates, like every other app does.

Yep me too and it works pretty well.

EDIT: Actually that isn't true. The default for me was the normal forums, on the bottom left of the page is a "Use Mobile Version" button. That took me to the Mobile version :surprise:

you have to change it to mobile version (at the bottom of the front page *change theme*).

then as long as you dont delete your cookies on your phone each time you visit the forum (on your phone) you will see the mobile version.

Right, but I don't mean the mobile version of the site, I mean the actual app.

i'm guessing there is something bethesda has to do in order for people to use that feature and IPboards just leaves a link up by default

The actual app is pretty much EXACTLY the mobile forums..

I tried that on my android today and by the time I got the words big enough to read with these old eyes, it was one word on the screen at once. (slight exaggeration) I won't be doing that again. In fact I just got my first smart phone a month ago and I'm going to take it back and get a dumb one again. Drop the internet, texting and all that bologna. Then I'll either buy an Ipad or a Kindle Fire which I think will suit my needs a bit better than a little tiny phone.

How did you get it? I was primarily interested in the Push Notifications.

Im on the forums all the time using my iPad.

I think the iPhone mobile version of the forums is a bit wonky, but the feature where the page loads at the reply after the last one you saw is pretty neat.

You can do that on computer btw, just click the bullet point next to a topic title.

I just use Safari on my iPhone. It works fine, but I will have to look at the IP Board app to see what the deal is.

I browse the forum all the time on my Android phone but I've never seen that app message, must an an iPhone thing.
