Long story short i have no sound driver installed, but i do have a sound card. My question is, is there a link or download someone knows of that will allow me to get a sound driver update without having to pay and outrageous amount of money for software which i keep running into when browser websites that say "free driver download" even though i have to pay for it?

Nevermind your right, all i had to was do a little digging on my device manager and downloaded the software from the website like you said
