I play a dunmer who cares for the dunmer people. I basically hate the racists, but also the empire fr taking my land.

I can't stand the Thalmer, but I don't agree at all about how Ulfric is treating the Dunmer. Ulfrics city looks like [censored], and I would never want to live there. But I fight for him because I believe that the Thalmer need to be exterminated from the entire continent. Why did only the empire have to fight the Thalmer invasion?

You might look at the question this way? Who, the Empire or an independent Skyrim, would be more likely to aid the Dunmer take back what ever lands remain in Morrowind from the Argonians?

Ulfric was atleast kind enough to allow the Dunmer people sanctuary.

For that, I fight for his cause.

The Empire only takes, and forces their views upon its citizens.

Morrowind fell under the Empires influence, which forced division amongst its people.

Skyrim has suffered the same fate, and must now be cleansed.

I want to make a Dunmer and I'm contemplating on this very topic. I would think that it would be better for them to side with the Empire, the Nords are racist and have cooped them up in the slums.

Yes its quite easy to invade a land when there is no one left to protect it.

Guess its karma for stealing lizard children and having them tend crops on plantations.

I'm having the same dilemma right now.

I've decided to fight against the empire when the conflict between Nords and the Empire was announced,but I wasn't expecting Nords to be such racist scums LOL.

I went to join the Stormcloaks,they treated me not bad but badmouthed the mer race everytime.
So I went to join Imperial forces -as I have a sympathy for Blades- but they ordered me around without even talking of their objectives.

I'd join the Thalmor or Alduin if they were available though.That's the biggest downside of TES I think,you cannot join the opposing faction.
And I want to complain about Bethesda's high elf policy here.Is there even one single high elf in the game that doesn't treat you bad? I know Altmer are generally proud of themselves but it's almost as if they're turning into general fantasy orcs (evil race without question) of TES.


So my plan?Join the Stormcloaks and backstab them once the war is over.Than I'll be the high king.>=D

I'm not picking sides on my current Argonian character. I just slay the Thalmor at every opportunity, even when there are witnesses. I kill the Legion guys whenever they're transporting a prisoner. I guess I aid the Stormcloaks indirectly.

Don't judge Nords just because some of them are racist bastards. There are lots of decent people out there.
Ulfric makes joining of Stormcloacks very hard with his bad personality. I'm still for empire-free Skyrim, but I have to also find a way for Ulfric-free Skyrim
