how do you block users on this forum? i went to a profile but found no option to block them

Anyway settings =>'Ignore' Settings.

You can also access it directly from Your drop-down profile menu (from clicking your name) by selecting "Ignored"

You then type in the name of the person you want to ignore, and what you wish to ignore from them. Doesn't look like there's an option from a person's profile to ignore them.
