*spoilers* What happened to Ulfric?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 11:51 am

I watched it last night and I'm trying to figure out what happened to him.. you run into the tower from the dragon and he says something like "fairy tales don't destroy towns" and thats the last you see of him in the video right? Does he manage to find a way to escape on his own? All you are with after that point is the other Stormcloak

Someone said there was an option to escape with the Imperials instead but I didn't see that at all.

I have no idea what happened to him though.

Also, is this a choice? Towards the end of pt. 1, it says "Enter the keep with either Hadvar or Ralof." Is this a stormcloak/battle born alignment decision?

Wow, and another choice to apparently escape with the Imperials? Bethesda lives up to their hype!

we have seen footage of him in a throne, so he's doing just fine.

The most interesting part is that it says he murdered the king with the power of the voice. in that footage

I think if you choose to follow Ralof, you'll escape with the Stormcloaks. Hadvar was the Nord loyalist reading names at the execution, so I guess thats the option to escape via the Imperials.

I've got no idea where Ulric went after he followed Ralof, but I'm guessing he escaped with the others since he's in the other video on a throne.

This makes sense, thanks for the reply!

Also, I thought Esbern (the last of the Blades) was going to save you and tell you that you are Dovahkiin, maybe that's later though.

I do hope that's later.

What you described would have been too rushed.

Right at the end of the first video, Rolof and Hadvar are confronting each other, right before the player follows Rolof into the keep. My guess is that Hadvar goes into the keep some other entrance, since I can't imagine finishing that quest without the traditional 'exit-interior and be dazzled by exterior' trick that's been around since Morrowind (Daggerfall had it but it wasn't really all that dazzling)

I'll go back and watch it again once I get a few more shots of vodka and am feeling really attentive. Lol.

I guess being the leader of the Stormcloaks, Ulfric is going to ensure he gets back to wherever they're holding camp. He's got a rebellion to run here.

As for Hadvar? Well, if we escape with him, I think we'll be fighting Stormcloaks.

Not at all, the battleborns won't be anything major, Hadvar is Empire, Ralof is Stormcloak.

I realized there were two with the NPC with a quest arrow on their heads, possibly the other was an imperial.

Man I hope this is true.
I would be very sad to kill my way through imperials on my 100% Pro-Imperial toon.
