Mouse problems.

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 4:31 pm

Alright, I have a steelseries mouse and I like to do a lot of shooting games at times. Now, here is the problem, I can't seem to make the mouse move as... smoothly as I used to be able to. It kinda 'jumps' here and there, I've reinstalled the driver for it but it failed to fix the problem.

I haven't had the blasted thing for long enough to break it, has anyone else had a problem like this? Any idea how to fix it? Might seem minor but its making headshots hard.

If it is jumping, it may be a problem with the surface you are using it on. Have you cleaned your mousepad recently?

I have that problem with my laser mouse when dust or cat hair manages to get in the bottom, there's probably something blocking the beam.

One do you have a shiney, or glossy mousepad, if you do the beam has a tendency to splash and scatter on the glossy surface making your mouse pointer go all over the screen.

You where right.

I thank you all for replying, even if Narmy was the only one that was helpful, its the thought that counts, even if the thought never chalked up to anything.
