Forcing triple buffering and Vsync in the nvidia control panel for Rage.
Drastically reduced tearing.

Also, increased FOV.

In steam launch options add +set com_allowconsole 1
Then, inside the game bring down the console using ~

To see the args, just tupe g_ and then press tab, which will show you varias arguments
the FOV one is g_fov, defualts to 80
Made mine 95 by adding 15 via

cvaradd g_fov 15

can you figure out how to fix the re-rendering/derendering of textures whenver you turn around

Unfortunately I dont see it or see minimal issues from that, for me the game is running rather smooth now

If you have SLI be sure to set Rage to run as a Single GPU setup - only way I can get mine to be playable. This also made the texture pop-in far far better.

I'm running nVidia drivers 285.38.
