If you downloaded the latest 285.38 beta drivers for Nvidia cards, be aware that they are FUBAR. Nvidia confirmed many problems with them. Also when i downloaded them for my GTX460 i noticed a decrease in performance for all the games i tried to play after installation of this beta drivers. Try reinstalling latest WHQL drivers, 280.26. Performance in games jumped right up after i reinstalled them. Next WHQL drivers for Nvidia cards will be released in the next 10-20 days.

Funny, over on the Steam forums some Nvidia users have been saying that 285.38 solved all their problems. It's hit or miss on nearly everything right now. But it's clear that they didn't spend much time on optimizing this game for the PC.
