Hey dudes. I'm loving skyrim so far but there's one thing that is really annoying me. One of my favourite things to do in TES games is to decorate my homes with items on tables and place them out perfectly etc. In skyrim this is a pain in the ass because of the following. When I drop an item on the ground and then drag it to, say, a table and place it there, it will automatically return to the place I first dropped it on the ground after I load or leave the house. It doesn't happen with all items but seems to happen with probably 50% or more of the items I have tried placing out. Any one got any tips to work around this?

How do you even pick up items like in oblivion? And try setting the items up, save, load and see if it stays.

You hold "E" or the button you use for activating. And yes that's what I'm doing but every single time I reload the item have reverted back to its original position. Very frustrating.

one last bump. guess i'm the only one that loves placing out items like this?
