When I saw the Elder Scrolls MMO announced (I keep up with my favorite games) my heart would probably have skipped a beat, if I wasn't already undead that is. When I looked up on Slashgear and saw that Matt Firor was involved, especially because I loved Dark Age of Camelot, I just realized how good of a game this is going to be. Dark Age of Camelot was so successful because it had three warring factions fighting in contested territories over castles, towers, and what have you. Elder Scrolls has so much lore, an involving combat system, and great storytelling potential in quests and more.
This Elder Scrolls game still has a lot yet to be revealed, however. What's the penalty for death? What will be the PvP rewards system? Level cap? How fast do we level? Although they will be answered in time, it's always so tantalizing and tempting to what possibilities it might hold.
Although there is one question I have to ask your opinion on. How do you feel about the MMO game based on the Elder Scrolls, a critically acclaimed solely single player PvE series, being managed by a producer of the best MMO PvP game there has been? Will it work? Will it still have the Elder Scrolls feel, or will it try too hard to be the best in both PvP and PvE, and not have much in either?
