C:DriveE:Drive

When I try to install Rage it says I dont have enough space on my C:Drive ok that's fine, but It doesn't give me an option to install it on the E:drive..... please help iv spent about 2 hours looking on google and nothing works...how do i make it so the E: drive is the primary....

Is it even possible to install Rage on the E:Drive .

I have windows 7
i7 875k processor
4 gb ram
gfx 470

I don't have the game, so ill just throw these out there.

If its trhough Steam, you have to install the game where Steam wants it. Its annoying as hell, I know. My steam folder is like 200GB

If its not trhough steam, the installer should have a place to change directories. Usually you are asked if you want to do a standard or custom installation. So selecting custom will let you select install locations.


Alternativly, you can do what I did with FalloutNV and use a system link to have Steam reference a folder that is linked to somewhere else on your computer but that first requires installing the game.

Sir I thank you very much. I finally got the game to install on the E:Drive

But says 15 hours to download are you kidding me haha....?

If i knew you in real life I would give you 2 chocolate chip cookies.

Your awesome you solved my problem in a post with 4 words, and replied in like 5 minutes, i thought i would have to check the forum in the morning for my answer,

I dont no how strict you are on rules on this forum but thank you, sorry for spam and if i have any other problems i will post another question.
