So I'm just outside Whiterun and I see a Giant and a Mammoth walking around a big bonfire. I also see a nice, big Locked Chest.

I tried a couple times to sneak to it but every time the Giant sees me and sends me into orbit, and then the Re-Load screen.

Well, on another attempt, a Dragon suddenly shows up and starts attacking the GIANT and the MAMMOTH right in front of me while I'm hiding behind a rock.

So, while they're busy fighting each other, I run over to the chest, pick it open and find tons of loot!

After that, I shoot the dragon a couple times and then run away, just far enough to keep it's red dot on my compass. I sit back and just watch the battle.

The dragon kills the mammoth but the Giant severely weakened the Dragon.

Well, the Dragon decides to bail out on the Giant and comes after me. The Giant runs halfway across the field toward me and the dragon, but then just turns around and goes back to his bonfire. He's no longer interested in the Dragon and never really "Aggro'd" me.

I hit the Dragon with a Shout and a couple arrows and it's dead. I get the Dragon Soul, the Dragon loot, the Giant's Chest loot and never had to face the Giant directly.



Just felt like sharing that crazy Skyrim moment.

Love it! But my luck, the dragon would never show up for something like that--no, no, he wants me all for himself!

this are the moments that tell you this game is just the most epic game ever

With my luck the dragon will be there just the moment im busy killing the giant with my final blow, and kills me.. THEN finnishing off the giant.

And the Dragon will put its Trollface.jpg on, so i can just see it on my killcam..
