Is there a max level? Also a few other questions.

Does anyone know if there is a max level?

Can you keep playing until you character eventually has enough points to put a point into every perk into every tree?

You stop getting perks at level 50.

Not sure what the actual level cap is.

The soft level is 50 and from what I hear you can get to 70 but it will be a hell of a grind from 50 to there.

Soft cap is 50. Meaning you can't continue the perk trees.

Hard cap/max level I THINK from what I've heard is 81 (one LONG grind to it though). That's when you can max all your skills to 100.

That is wrong. And seriously outdated.

You keep getting perks after 50, all the way to the hard cap, which is level 81.

So....I can get all the perks filled on one character? I'm not worried about the grind or levels I have to get, I just want to get everything on one character eventually.

You gain levels as your skills improve. When your skills stop improving, you stop gaining levels. Skills have a limit; therefore your level has a limit.

I understand that you can level every tree to 100 I was mainly asking if I could fill every perk in every tree. Sure, having 100 light armor will be nice but not that fun if I can fill up the trees perks.

No you can't. From what I know you can get 80 perks from leveling and 20 from quests while there are a total of 251 (if I counted right) perks in the skill trees.

No, you won't have enough perks to fill every tree, but you'll be able to fill quite a few. People 5-8 depending on what trees and how many points you spend in each tree.

well that's a bummer. I hate making another character on TES and fallout games...

You can cover quite a large spectrum of perk trees though, if you don't fully max them out.

Increasing magick skills reduces the mana cost for spells, but doesn't increase their damage. The except is Bound weapons, which do gain damage based on your skill. If you want to increase your magick damage, you need Perks.
