Sorry that my first post here is a question, but I am a little frustrated tonight. I just picked up Skyrim at the midnight release, started playing for a while, and all of a sudden my crosshairs and guide map on the top of the screen disappeared. I have turned the crosshairs on and off through the settings menu to no avail. The game is virtually unplayable without either. Does anyone know a fix?

My second issue is that it is too big for my television. I have a 1080i 65 inch rear projected tv, and every other game I have works fine. The menu is cropped when I try and look at items and only displays part of the words. Thanks for any help that you guys may give me.
