At least his story was told. There are thousands of stories like his that will never be told or remembered, the acts of uncommon valor and sacrifice of very young men in the face of a truly formidable foe.
I have the Band Of Brothers set, I watch it time to time, and no matter how many times I watch them, the most poignant moments are always the intro interviews, and that last one, Winters saying "no, but I fought in the companies of heroes".. that one gets to me every time.
