Durar's time tiral: roadkill mutant

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 7:08 pm

if you boost TO the blue checkpoint, a mutant runs from the tent, to the concrete pillar, to cross the side of the barricaded track. I ran him over and got 1 mutant roadkill, dunno if thats an easter egg, but i was hoping to get something special.

I have not seen the mutant ever appear unless I am boosting the entire way to the blue checkpoint (not reaching the checkpoint during boost = haven't seen mutant)

I'm using the "patched game" and a CE code for infinite boost (not console cvar =/ )

they should re-enable cheats for SP, and block achievements only for using cheats, not using "console" sigh :(

I haven't seen any posts on this, (searched google) but maybe an old post was made since it is at the beginning of the game

EDIT: i have never seen the buttons for the DOOM room in wasted garage (what makes them spawn, or were they moved/removed with patch 1?)

There is no 'button'. You just press the use button on all the keyboards.

I meant quake room. the buttons weren't there for 3 visits. yet after posting this, the buttons were there. =/

I also ran over a mutant on the last buggy race in the murder(madness?) & mayhem race selection

The official guide book mentions the room is only accessible when you go back to the garage without an active mission. Maybe that's why the buttons were missing.

don't you always have at least 1 active mission? i went into the wasted place after clearing it out the first time (collecting all the car parts) but there were no buttons

some random time i went in, and there were buttons.

I meant a mission in the Wasted Garage, ie one that takes place there.

Strange that the buttons disappeared though.

I order for you to get the Quake room buttons to appear you have to complete the mission, exit the garage, kill the two bad guys working on an ATV then reenter the garage. The Quake room buttons will now be visible.
