So does the Cuprino render the Rat Rod obsolete? I was hoping this pre-purchase goodie would last me at least halfway through the game but it gets replaced early on.

The Cuprino let's you cycle between two weapons, while the Rat Rod is limited to only one. This pretty much seals its' fate.

The Cuprino is better, yes, but the Rat Rod is still better than the standard buggy, meaning that it gives you an advantage in buggy races.

Did I miss the Rat-Rod or was it Steam preorder only? I preordered from Amazon.

If your package says Anarchy edition then you should have the rat rod. Make sure you registered the DLC code for bonuses and the sewer missions. They should've been on a slip inside the package. Anarchy code on one side, sewer code on the other.

Rat Rod uses the V6 engine, same as your buggy. And the Cuprino use V10 engine, and the Cuprino is a car, not a buggy, and it's using the larger engine than Rat Rod. btw...The Cuprino can cycle between the Rocket launcher and the minigun..and the Rat Rod can't do that.
so: The Cuprino is good, yes..but Sparky's car is better. (i forgot his car's name)

how do you get sparky's car? there are so many different cars but you only get 3-4 of them out of like 15? or more? (i'm up to captain marshall quest)

You can get Sparky's car by racing with him in the Subway Town, when Redstone ask for you to get a new car.
oh..And Sparky's car named Monarch, and it's got a Pulse cannon...it's kills anything with only 1 shot
p.s: You can also get the Magnum for your Cuprino (the front bumper) by racing with Sparky in Wellspring.

The name of the car is "Monarch."

fyi his name is starky not sparky just throwing it out there also there is a car even more powerfull then the monarch but as ive read trough the RAGE c/++ coding and some secrets within the idtech 5 engine code there seems to be a possible idea that the Authority Vehicle Called The predator is going to be playable there was this certain type of code afixed to this vehicle in the program code too and it said unlock at dlc 3-/!_? these 5 symbols would then suggest that u get some kind of quest of which one probably is to aquire this authority vehicle and or steal one from them as ive already said this might just be a wild guess or a fact but im certainly relishing at the idea of driving a Authority Predator
