Another Reviewer's First Impressions

CAUTION! ENTIRE POST HAS SPOILERS, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
A snippet of one reviewer's time spent with TES Skyrim, playing as a male Nord level 4 Warrior. Note: I am NOT that reviewer.
===================================================================================================================================================================

[1]Entered Whiterun and immediately encountered a guard trying to arrest me, had several options: Pay a 50 gold fine, resist arrest, or tell guard I was the Jarl's Thane. Picked option #3. Guard responded by apologizing and telling me "The Jarl's influence can only go so far, be careful from now on."

[2]Walked around town and stopped at a few shop stalls, selling some gear I didn't need. Had to sell at a couple of shops since each one only buys the types of items they are selling.(Armor at armor shops, food at food stalls, etc.)

[3]Spoke to an old woman running one of the stalls and she told me her son had been kidnapped. Walked with her back to her house as she would only speak of it in private. Entered her house and her other son came out of a room brandishing an axe wondering who I was. They explained that the son had been kidnapped by a faction with ties to the government(forgot exact name of faction) and that the other son couldn't go poking around without getting arrested himself. I was asked to go to an official's house and steal whatever I could find that implicated that faction and told where the son was being held. I looked through the house for a key but couldn't find one, encountering a rich looking boy in one room I opened, complaining about his father. Used a lockpick to open the Adept skill level door, the lockpick mini-game being relatively easy even with a skill of about 20. Found the book in question, saying that the Thrallmar(Elves?) had the son in their compound. Took the book back to the brother and promised I would meet him at the dungeon. The dungeon consisted of a few buildings near each other(like a small town) that had elves which mainly spammed the same Lightning spell over and over. Got halfway through the dungeon and fell through a staircase outside and had to fast travel to get unstuck. Decided to do the quest later and just explore some more.

[4]Went out exploring up in the mountains and encountered a message saying "You cannot go this way" when near the top of a snowy mountain. Made it to a cliff and stopped to enjoy the view, could see things for miles(Xbox 360). Encountered dozens of wolves along the way, usually in groups of 3-4. Each taking a few swings of my greataxe to kill.

[5]Found a lone house surrounded by giant rats, which seemed to come out of the ground as I approached. When I struck the last one it bounced off the side of the cabin like a baseball being hit by a bat and landed dead on its feet. Went inside the house and fought more rats that were eating a man lying dead in his bed.

[6]Got too close to a mammoth in a field and it attacked me and my companion.(A Nord female named Lydia) Ran off after companion got two-shotted by the mammoth's giant ally. Found a random shrine and looted all the gems and flowers that were there as offerings. My companion caught back up with me.(Turns out she was immortal!)

[7]Met an old Orc warrior standing in the middle of nowhere. Said he missed his chance to be a chieftan and was too old to have a wife. Told me Malacath had sent him visions of a glorious death and that was what he was standing there waiting for. I told him that I would grant his request and fought and killed him.

There was a bit more but the review was in German and that's about all I got from it. Don't know how much of it is new information but thought I'd post it anyways. I believe the snippet covered about an hour or so of his time with the game. He also mentioned fighting some mudcrabs that popped out of the ground near a wet patch of grass so that seems to be a tactic some of the lesser enemies have in this game.

The "old orc" thing sounds like an easter egg referring to Umbra from Morrowind.

Lol
This is garrys leaked playthrough
I was there for all that crap
And he makes the "invisible wall" worse than it was
He tried going up the opposite side of high hrothgar instead of the 7000 steps
He was supposed to go through a cinematic if he had went up the back it prolly would have been awkward lol

(can a moderator say if this is legal to write or not?)
Im just tryin to defend the game...its nothing spoilerish
And is kinda obvious

@Thuic Do you go up the 7000 steps? What's this about a cinematic?

It's legal to discuss so long as no mention of where I got my source is posted. That was why I had to edit the story in such a vague manner. My intention was to offer some new info to other forum members based on what I gleaned from that playthrough. I actually wrote that whole thing, leaving out all the stupidity that went on lol.

Well, I guess as long as it's legal to discuss, one of the 'stupidity' moments exposed a nasty bug that I hope gets a priority fix: The place Garry the German's character got stuck multiple times between some stairs and a wall and had to fast travel as the only way to escape his predicament.

The companion was only knocked out. Don't know if that confirms that ALL companions can't die, only that Lydia the Nord can't.

Seems god but some real crap are in like minigames.
Some problems with death animations,
Some likewise ennemies seems to have always the same tactic...Which is a boredoom factor, do X rince and repeat...

For High Hrothgar, he tried to go around the western side of the mountain, but went pretty much south from Helgen and was pointing towards Cyrodiil when he hit the invisible wall and to be fair, it was just about too steep to walk up when it happened.
