Perks Revealed

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 9:10 am

This is new to me. I saw some people had posted threads about perks so I started to look into it myself and came across this article. http://vividgamer.com/2011/11/02/bethesda-reveals-the-280-perks-available-in-skyrim/

Hopefully that gives some new info to those of you interested.

Thanks, but it looks like "Bethesda" is just sources taken from forum posts, they have no light armor, one handed is mostly missing and only 1 perk for lockpicking?

this is again not hte full list... this is from what Sammu brought to us months ago. If you can see there's nothing for light armor yet I made a post about all of the light armor perks. Plus look at alteration's puny list.

The title of that article pisses me off. The dude taking the credit away from Sammu by saying Bethesda released this information. This man has no validity

Lol it happens all the time
The truly dedicated fans like us find out the goods and game journalists just copy and paste all the time lol
Its how journalists get "info leaks"

took the time to count so gonna post
assuming all ranked perks are ranked five times and assuming each rank counts for one perk...
this is a list of one hundred ninety two of the two hundred eighty perks.
im guess its mostly complete from a skills standpoint... meaning i hope that there are alot of quest related perks you dont need to waste your level ups on.

Not all ranked perks have 5 ranks. From what I remember, the hammer-/axe-/sword-specific perks only have 3 ranks.

As for the link itself, yes it's old news, and yes it's frustrating that people aren't crediting the right person (humph). I'm used to it now though. It just seems odd that someone would "reveal" something like it's news, nearly 2 months after the info first became widespread knowledge. Internet's a funny ol' place.

Don't worry Sammu, to the old guard (those of us who have been patiently following this for months) you are a hero, and well recognised as the original provider of info!!!!

The UESP has what looks like a pretty comprehensive list of perks known so far too, probably from Sammu and other sources that have confirmed perk trees.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Skills

If you count each rank as a separate perk, then their list comes in at 236 - still 50 or so perks that we don't know about. If you don't count ranks as separate perks, then we only have 154 perks to date. The first case is much likelier, given what we know so far.

Oh man! Alteration and Restoration are powerful!

Might need to reconsider whether I perk up one-handed now. This is tough!
