I just got back from the midnight release not too long ago and the game ran perfectly till now i am experiancing some pretty major problems im being forced too talk to people multiple times but thats already been posted and here is the bad part im on my way too whiterun and i get almost there and it looks like it failed to load most of the area around the town i find a way around this to get stuck talking to the gaurd 50 time before i go finnaly get in town but guess what almost none of the town loads at all the first part the walkway and the doors are all im getting to see i dont even want to try acctually going in to the houses plus i failed to get my premium map though hope the gamestop just messed up but anywho between that and this glich/bug im almost tempted to return it and get my money back and i after i waited for almost a year to get the game im really dissapointed now

yep but only after i started my game should it matter oh well im going to restart and just run there see if it still happens

i would post screenshots but idk how and its weird ive reloaded several times and it loads more sometimes but never the whole thing

well ive started a new game and the error still persists im going to uninstall and reinstall the start a new game and we will see what happens from there also got some new information i can see every thing from the outside from a distance but when i get close it lags for a half sevond and dissapears hope this helps some one help me or i guess i will just keep upadating till i find a solution

I experienced something similar, the walkable path ended on the edge of the texture, and if you got to far you've got a text that you can't go there. Everytime the message appeared I got stuck, or fell down below the ground.

This happened at "Anises Hut" (see Images below) and in a similar way at "Bleak Falls Barrow" (which I could not even enter, because the bridge wasn't there; see images below)

I will try reinstalling the game, otherwhise I will be waiting for a bugfix again (as with Fallout 3 and NV).

Something to try:

Delete “Skyrim” and “Skyrim Update” game data, then reinstall and redownload the update. Let us know if this helps..

I am having the exact same issue.
Here's hoping that another patch is being worked on, because there have been 2 fairly large areas that I cannot access at all, and I've only been playing for maybe an hour. I don't really mind minor bugs so much, but these are sort of game-breaking...

Gstaff is right just delet the gamefiels and reinstall it.

I had the same problem, +the guard at the begining in Whiterun wans't there so i couldn't do the quests

I second that.

1. Delete Game Data and Update Data
2. Cut Internet and PSN Connection
3. Install Game Data
4. Connect to INet and PSN
5. Download and install Update

In my case the guard at Whiterun "appeared", the entrance at Bleak Falls Barrow was complete, and the landscape at Anises Hut was intact and without flying trees.

So I guess 15 hours of exploring and side-quests are enough for now. I think I'll dive right in and have myself a main quest now.

well ive figured that out already thanks though and after that i ran into a whole slew of other problems being lagging in certain spots , the game freezeing, not being able to load my current game with out loading a previous game first and now i cant get passed the quest where i am supposedly supposed to fight the first dragon and i cant talk to any of the soldiers or the quest chick when i get to the west tower
