Hello, everybody! I hope your days are going well.

I just picked up my copy of Skyrim (for the PS3), but my HUD seems to be screwy for some reason. I can barely see my compass (it goes off the screen, so I can only see a sliver of the bottom of it), and when I open my inventory, it seems that the first couple of letters go off the screen as well (so instead of seeing the word 'Weapons', all I see is 'eapons').

I tried calling Bethesda support, but I was put on hold for half an hour and never received any help. I also tried messing around with my display settings in the XMB menu, but no matter what I did, nothing worked. I have a 32 inch Sanyo television (not sure what the model is, but it's an older one; it isn't a flatscreen, and it isn't an HDTV. Any and all help is appreciated. It's becoming very frustrating being unable to see my compass and everything else that's cut off from my view.

There's a handful of other people with the same problem too. I just exchanged my copy in hopes that it was just an issue with that disc. Everything goes off-screen,including the weapons and such. Like the zoom is too big. I don't know why they didn't include display settings in the in-game Options menu.

Its the tv, not the game, I had to switch my tv resolution to "widescreen" some of the letters are still cut off when i go to the inventory, but at least I am able to see everything else...going to try to change my ps3 resolution also.
