Quest Screen Opening when HIt

So, I played all last night, no problems except a minor glitch that wouldn't let me jump and was solved by a quick reload. Today however, I loaded the exact same save file, and every time I was hit by an enemy my quest menu would pop up. As soon as I would exit and get hit again, it would open again. This happened frequently enough that it froze my game, so I went to the forums for solutions.

The forums solution to everything was to uninstall the game and patch, and reinstall. After doing this 3 times, and deleting my saved files each time, and the same thing happening over and over again, I tried something else. I noticed that every time the game froze it was while the controller was vibrating. So, I went into options and disabled the vibrate function. So far this has stopped the menu popping up. This also disabled the freezing issues I was having every time I tried to pick a lock as well.

So, if you are having this problem, until they patch it properly, try disabling vibrate on your controller.

Also, for anyone wondering:
Controller was the one that came with the ps3, sony brand, dual shock 3 wireless controller. Nothing fancy, no mods, etc. Just basic, came with system controller. No magic or hexes involved.
And, I checked, had nothing to do with the battery level on the remote either.

Just a thought from someone who hasn't played yet:
If other people aren't having a similar problem, there may be an issue with your controller, a loose connection or something similar. Such that when the vibration happens the button that opens the menu gets "pressed" by the controller.
Does anything similar happen in any other games that have a vibration? If not, than it might just be another bug in a list that seems to be lengthening by the hour.
Good luck!

Nope, does just fine with other games. It's only skyrim. But I just turned off vibrate, and it's playing beautifully. Tiny bits of clipping here and there, but it's worth it for the gameplay. Ty for the reply though.
