I've been keeping a close eye out for any mods that help with the UI but I haven't seen any yet. The first mods I saw were for background pics or something like that. With as many people who are complaining about this I figured this would be one of the first mods out. My question is, how hard is it to make? Is this something that takes time? When should we people who don't know anything about modding expect something like this?

Yes, the UI svcks. I mostly messed with Darn's Oblivion UI to customize it to my liking. It's not as easy as one may think. The game has barely been out for a full day. You might want to give people a chance to play around a bit before expecting a mod for a lot of these things. Just saying. Rest assured though, I would be HIGHLY surprised if someone did not make a UI mod.
