I'm having an interesting issue...

About 3/4 of the time I load an area, I get booted to the desktop. The game is still running, and I am able to task-switch back. When I switch back, I'm met with the resume screen and can continue playing.

I have tried closing all other applications, so that only rage and steam(minimized) is running. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

Anyone else experiencing this or something similar?

I CANNOT believe.... of all the things I tried, this actually worked. Thank you so much for this. I was extremely irritated I couldn't get in to an area I was at previously. It kept crashing on loading. Alt tabbing at the loading screen actually worked!!! I would pay you 60 bucks right now if I could get it back from ID/Bethesda for making such a svckfest and would give it to you.
