So i got skyrim, and when i run it i get the startup screen, and i click on play. the screen closes and nothing happens....
so i checked and when i click play it starts TESV.exe but seconds after, the process just disapears.

What are you using for sound (card, drivers, settings, etc...)? Sound cards are somewhat notorious for this kind of behaviour.

i dont get any further then this screen.

also tried changing the sound, it doesnt help.
