I had been playing Skyrim for several hours yesterday after work, and got up this morning with the ambitious goal of spending all day on it. Problem? My saves (there were probably about 10 of them) had all vanished. My last save was in Whiterun... I have no idea what happened to them. I shut the PS3 off last night, turned it on this morning, and nada. It doesn't look like it's "just" a matter of the game not recognizing them, either....they're not showing up in the ps3 saved games utility.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to get those back?

How did you turn off the game? Did you hold the PS button and hit "shut down system" in the middle of the game, or did you completely exit the game and then shut down?

mine did that too i have to start all over and i did mine in the middle of the game so for now on i am goin to quite game then shut down hopefully that will solve the problem

I think I shut it down in-game. Oh well, lesson learned, I guess.

Game managed to delete all my other manual saves and replace them with autosaves of all the same character , so it may not be due to your shutting down.
