My inventory is way too big

Is there a mod to make it so we carry less? I shouldn't be able to walk around carrying a full arsenal of like 20 weapons and armors... I figure all that would need to be changed is the max weight 300 down to 150 or maybe 100.

Although this isn't directly related to the topic. There was a bug in oblivion if you had too many Items in your inventory the load times for the menus could be up to 4 seconds.
That is really annoying as a thief.

A mod like that should be very easy to make once we get our hands on the Creation Kit.

You don't need a mod to do this. Open the console and type

player.modav carryweight #

This will change the weight that you can carry. Positive numbers will add to your existing limit, negative numbers will subtract from it.

forceav can be used too, but it will set your carry weight to whatever number you type, not add or subtract from it.

However, forceav is not recommended because it will keep your carry weight at the number permanently. The modav command still lets the game change the number, like when your strength/endurance/whatever stat that changes your carry weight increases, your carry weight will still increase appropriately.

Most console commands from previous games still work in Skyrim. since it's just a modified version of the gamebryo engine, and not a new one.

go in the consome and type

player.modav carryweight -100

Where 100 is an example, you can use any number, positive or negative. The changes are permanent until reversed by the console and wont interfere with future growth due to Stamina increases.

This being helpfully said, WTF are you smoking. I have to sell after every dungeon and I'm always over capacity. Im currently powergaming pickpocket to be able to get the Extra Pockets perk.

If I was going to mod anything it would be to change the formula so that 1 stam = 1 CW instead of 1/2 that.

Edit: err... looks like Im just repeating someone else's words. Sorry! Somehow missed the last post before posting mine.
