http://epizenter.net/reviews/xmod/earbuds.jpg. First pair came with my mp3 player like 6 years ago, still have them, better sound than 90% of the crappy earphones I've tried. Bouhght a second pair as a backup because the first is getting so old.

Have it patched up with electrical tape.

If you want a cheap pair for backup that's good good quality sound, can't beat em.

Sennheiser http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-HD-25-SP-Headphones/dp/B00009QH7B. Really good, expensive at £90 when I bought them in 1998 but given that headphones usually managed to last about six months before I'd break them, these are doing well. They're onto their third set of leads and second set of ear-pads but that's it, really. Excellent sound quality too. Only negative is the way that the ear things spin around on the headband when you try to pick them up, tangling the wire.

I still keep thinking that's about earrings.

I have two sets, a newish pair of http://uk.skullcandy.com/shop/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/650x505/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/hero-shots/Uprock_S5URDZ-037_1.jpg, and a really old panasonic set that belong to my dad. I think they're actually older than me. They've got a nice long cord.

For use with my PC, I use a set of http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-HD201-Closed-Back-Headphones/dp/B0007XJSQC/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1330964892&sr=1-1s: excellent headphones, especially for the price (they were about £14-15 when I was bought them). They do tend to reduce the sound volume, but that can be easily compensated for by turning up the master volume. As for listening to music on the go, I'm still using the stock headphones that came with my Creative Zen mp3 player. I'm again rather surprised by the sound quality considering the fact they were a bundled pair, although they can get rather uncomfortable after just an hour or so of listening.

Koss Portapro. I use them when I'm on the PC aswell as when I'm running/working out. They are a very common sight amongst athletes and people working out I've noticed. :P They're pretty cheap and good.

Got a pair of Shure se-215's for wearing out and about.

plus a good drawer full of cheapo earphones that came with stuff including a pair of the Creative ones Steampunk listed

Thinking of getting a decent set of Circumaural phones for my computer and moving my surround speakers to the living room.

That's not quite what I'd expected. I suppose they are getting on a bit, but they're in surprisingly good condition considering they've had nearly 14 years of daily use.

An old pair of http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-V300-Monitor-Headphones-Folding/dp/B00001W0DD
Because I don't care about being an audiophile and they're good enough for my purposes (causal PC/gaming use). Also, because they still work/haven't broken, so I haven't bothered to buy new ones.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007E7C8/. Good sound, but they hurt my ears sometimes because of the tight fit.

ATH-M50s. Got them back when they were $100, instead of the $160 they are now.

Wooah... :ooo:

I've got a pair ofhttp://www.gradolabs.com/page_headphones.php?item=ec27f1750be96023333af0dfe546af44, which don't block outside sound at all and get kind of uncomfortable after ~4 hours (I wear glasses), but sound better than anything else I've found for under $100. I'm willing to put up with a little pain if it makes music sound better.
