Have a close look at this character. The old dude that stands close to the blue line. Anyone else think there are distinct similarities in posture , looks and behaviour to a vortigaunt from HL2? Maybe I'm dreaming this up, but to me they are incredibly similar.

Teeth. When he speaks......Voice tone........what is said (a bit cryptic), Hunched over stance. He also asks you to get the comet spore, which you have to agree bears a very strong likeness visually to the pheromone that was in HL2.....the ant lion attracter.

Is it my imagination, or is there a resemblance to the HL logo on his walking stick?

The voice of the vortigaunt in HL2 was Lou gosset jr. Anyone check the credits long enough to see if he voiced this as well.? Doubt it but you never know.
