not sure if i got a bum disc at the entrance to the dead city cetral/hospital mri room the door is supposed to open so u can get the defib unit. the door does not open tried reseting the save searched evrywhere including online and they all say the door just opens am i missing something or bad disc? (xbxo360)

I have given up on the game because of it

It is a great shame because I was enjoying the game but to have a 3 disc game I am not even allowed to play halffway through one disc because of poor testing is a joke.

ok so i think i can help out a little if you start the dead city mission from the autosave begining the door will open just finished the mision and got the defib upgrade

You haven't been ripped off, you've just found a bug that a lot of us have been bitten by. I just went back to a game save from before the really really really big mutant and it worked second time, but it seems there is no one single "this always works" solution at the moment. Note that this was on my second run through the game; first time it worked perfectly. And a lot of people didn't even get that bug, which indicates that it's a really obscure one.

I don't care how obscure it is. It has stopped me making any further progress in the game. I have been ripped off.

My problem is I saved right before getting the Defib upgrade. I got the upgrade but now can't find any way out to go back to wasteland. the mutants knocked a whole in the wall and I went through there to the bottom where the hammer and the remote car is and there are no doors that open or to blow up or anything just stuck. Does this mean I have to play from the last auto save to get out???
