I am seeing a ton of people arguing back and forth but missing each other completely. Let me try and explain this on neutral ground:

To those against:
The people who you are fighting with have been given an opportunity to experience two of their facorite thimgs combined. Massively multiplayer elder scrolls. They oppose you so harshly because they see you as a threat to the game being released and ruining the experience for them. They have the right to have this fear as it is possible.

Having an MMO elder scrolls could be a good thing if done right.

To those for:
The people against have every right to be here as you do. These forums are not just for promotion of games but also from suggestions from the fanbase as to what directions companies should go. They also have valid points, those sayimg the game will not affect single player are fooling themselves. As much as we hate it everything boils down to money. If this MMO manages to be hugely successful it very well could pose a threat to the beloved aingle player games due to the fact that zenimax will ultimately divide up time between what they see as most profitable. Just because it is 2 different developement teams doesnt mean that they will not effect each other.
I can guarantee they work together because zenimax doesnt know lore, they need bethesda's help for that.

That being said both sides are right in their opinions and wrong to fight each other so harshly.

Instead of fighting you guys need to figure out a way to ensure the safety of elder scrolls as it is while promoting the advancement of the series through avenues such as this MMO.

They CAN both exist simultaneously, we just have to be careful and ensure that they do not step on each others toes.

I truly hope what i have said will reduce the anger between fans, even slightly. Im not saying to not talk, talk keeps the games in line.
