A silly worry

hey guys. I haven't been watching many videos, because I want to keep the surprises to a maximum. I just want to know, does the player character move like in Oblivion (smooth) or like in Fallout (sorta chunky)? I loved both F3 and F:NV but the movement of the character and the jumping sometimes made the gameplay frustrating.

~Thanks

Characters still move a BIT funny but nowhere near as bad as oblivion. Only when characters run backwards and strafe while running backwards I notice a bit of goofy footwork animations but forward and strafe seems fine. Swimming looks horrible. Things will be fine young jedi

Lol from what I noticed, more smoothly than Fallout. Not completely smooth, but as long as the movement is decent and doesn't move like a slug whenever I jump from a diagonal position. I don't care too much on how it looks, as 98% of my game will be played in 1st person.
Good to hear.

lol good to hear.

And i lol'd @ the oblivion comment. I couldnt use ranged for crap because things moved so unpredictably. It was only better in FO because they moved slowly, and even then the FPS element was only worth while in FO:NV. If, however, the animations are as good as gamesas says, characters should have tells when they go to turn/strafe, and not just instantly jut off in a random direction at top speed...

How bad is swimming? You saw it in third person?
