fragile skeletons

has anyone noticed that skeletons are extremely fragile in skyrim. i'm not complaining because if anyone remembers, they had droves of HP in oblivion often taking me minutes to kill which was irritating. but i've noticed it doesn't take more than one swat of a mace to kill them. whats the point besides making you feel like a god

Your basic skeleton has always been extremely weak in the series.

I like how if you kill them with a power attack, they break apart and scatter about the area, as opposed to using a non-power attack and they just go ragdoll while still being intact.

Maybe the game is being a bit more realistic
i can imagine a skeleton being fragile as it is just bones.

Well, i think they actaually ARE the 'cannonfodder' of skyrim. They're the basic baddie; it's a lot easier to find a skeleton than a still decomposing body, y'know? If skellys were more powerful than zombies, it would be a bit out of whack.

Plus, it's fun to hit them once and watch them explode.
