Note this may work for everyone who's having crashing problems but can't figure it out. I tried EVERYTHING to get my game to go, nothing worked; updated drivers, sound fix, ect.

Turn off EVGA On-Screen Display, the program that shows your fps in games.

Yeah, I'm not kidding, it works now and I'm happily playing

in case your wondering, i couldn't even get into the game PERIOD, it would crash as soon as the window launched.
