Changing the game settings in the Console during the game disable Achievements for that session. What you do in the INI before you launch the game has no effect on those.

I hope renaming your character doesn't disable achievements. Is it only certain console commands? It's not big deal if so I guess. I want to change my Khajiit's name title as he progresses.

So... I'm completely unable to change the FOV to one that doesn't give me a headache and strained eyes, without disabling my achievements.
Bloody brilliant, the least that could be done is give PC users a FOV slider. Damned console port.

Unless there's a way of changing the FOV without the Console. Is there?

You can change it in the INI by adding a line.

Sorry guys, I was a bit hasty with my anger. I've been having all sorts of issues with the graphics and the UI has been bugging me a bit.
