Post » Mon May 14, 2012 11:27 am

So i was happily playing just got out of the cave at the start when i thought i would save.
It said the disc is unrecognizable and that i should clean the disc and restart the xbox which i did. I tried to load up my save game and it just said disc unrecognizable. So i installed the game on hardrive and the same problem i can start a new game just not load a game or continue on or even save anyone got any solutions? :(

It seems your dvd drive has kicked the bucket.
Can you play any other game?

Then it may have to do with your HDD. Try clearing your cache as people suggest.

Ok, try this:
Copy your Skyrim saves from the xbox to a flash drive and then delete them from the xbox.
Put the disc in and start a new game. Tell me what happens.

No problem. The save files must have been corrupted.
Just keep in mind that if this starts happening more often with any game, you might have to consider changing your HDD.
