Posted the same query earlier... don't think anybody has an answer to this at the moment. Looks like we're going to have to wait for a mod... I've tried to play it without numpad but it's just not the same.

Yeah man, it just feels wierd for me without....Bethesda kinda ruined things a little for me due to the absense of good control mapping, i know it sounds stupid but it really has..

Yeah defo. I've used numpad bindings for over 10 years so I'm kind of stuck in my ways! It just seems odd as this wasn't a prob in Morrowind/Oblivion.

I use a program called 'autohotkey' to fix games suffering from consoitis. The most simple script you could make to make one key simulate another would be NUMPAD1::A ... then every time you press the numpad 1, the game think's it's the letter A. I usually use this to remap the mouse button's 4 and 5 when the game doesn't know what to do with them. Read up more on it to get more advanced scripts.

I also use the numpads so it looks like I'll need autohotkey to play this game.

Thanks for the tip stockwiz. I'll look into that.

The other issue is the fact that certain keys aren't editable at all, i.e. TAB to get out of certain screens, the keys to pick up/drop items and the A and D keys for page turning, etc. There must be some way to manually edit the .ini file to fix these flaws.

Hi stockwiz - 'autohotkey' works a treat! I have my beloved numpad back. :) Thanks for your help.
