It's extremely disappointing that the option of higher textures isn't available from the get go. I will also add that I have not had any technical issues on either my laptop or my desktop. Of course, I had the latest drivers already installed. I'm really enjoying the game btw. My only issue is with the textures. This is a fix to that for now, but it really shouldn't be necessary. Hopefully iD is aware of this and is working on a patch or some such...but that might be wishful thinking.

Hopefully this will help those who are looking for a solution to this problem and make iD aware our concerns.
