Developers I really hope you are reading these forums.

While I can only speak for 118 people who were on TS last night, I run a gaming guild, we play on many games including mmo games and also single player games like skyrim, in fact it can be a lot of fun to play a single player game with everyone else doing the same kind of thing.

We were discussing gaming in general last night, 118 of us in channel and the subject of ESO came up, 50% of people began to rage about it, the rest either did not know or had not read any details, links were provided and with random swear words being uttered.

Disbelief and disapointment was the general consensus.

The people that follow TES do not need simplification, we do not need healers and tanks we do not need to be spoon fed, we wanted a true ESO.

Hell most of us would have thrown our money at you if ESO was just a patch allowing you to play skyrim with 3 friends, you have took out everything that makes ES such a great series, instead you give us a DAOC/WOW with ES reskin.

While 118 people is not a large cross section we are most of us a loyal fanbase of ES games most of us actually growing up around them, this is a kick in the teeth and we will not purchase or take part in this travesty.

My advice scrap the entire project and spend a small percentage of the budget to make skyrim multiplayer even with just the following points.

1)Master Lan client/server where you all play, has a master mod list so all people joining can keep upto date.
2)Basic chat/voice
3)4 player co-op with ability to increase npc count hp
4)Master client able to save progress.

I can so imagine them doing just this.

I bet by Wednesday they'll annouce they've scrapped the Elder Scrolls MMO and are going to add multiplayer to Skyrim.

You are aware that the game has been in development for several years now?

You're suggesting that they basically throw away all the work and money already spent on it ,in order to then spend almost as much tearing apart a game that was coded for single player only and would have to be rebuilt from the ground up to incorporate multiplayer of any kind?

Not gonna happen.

This is a ridiculous thread. While you may want Skyrim to be multiplayer, that is fine. It is not the same team working on Skyrim and TESO. To tell the developers to scrap years of work without ever even trying their game is arrogant and ludicrous.

yes please Zenimax Online.

Ditch what you build since 2007 and make a Game specific for the 118 Imaginary friend of Calranthe or any other Wannabe out there.

While you at it the Game should have more Ponys and Ponys that can fly.

While I probably won't be playing TEO whenever it gets finished for various reasons, I think this thread is a bit silly. Personally I'll wait for Bethesda to make the next singleplayer Fallout and or TES and let Zenimax Studios (or whatever it's called) get on with what they're doing with this MMO jobby.

Even if they are reading the forums, they've been developing the game for too long to turn around and change it.
