HUD - Compass & Crosshair

I know the UI as a whole is a big issue for most, but thanks to global warming it's been far too cold for me to keep my hands out in the open on my mouse/keyboard, so I've been using my controller under a blanket, and it's not too terrible in that respect, different, yes.

Regardless, my biggest issue is the HUD, and I think a change or two needs to be made. One is the compass, which is one of the main reasons I got the game on the pc, to fix the god awful thing. It's placed horribly, and far too massive, thus far, the biggest killer of immersion. So my ideas, unless the mod already exists of course, follow.

1. Remove the current compass completely. Though the map isn't exactly a precise alternative. I also would just play with my HUD off, but there are not alternative visual cues regarding health /stamina, and a basic NSEW compass is pretty useful.

2. Smaller compass, in the bottom left/right. Perhaps make the health/magicka/stamina bars smaller as well, but keep them hidden until needed.

Second issue is the crosshair, I think it should only be there when you need it. i.e. when you have a bow / magic equipped. I like it off, but I do need it for my bow.
