Post » Mon May 14, 2012 10:53 am

Not sure if there bugs or issues but seemed to fix all issues for me in fps i get 60fps no drops even outside.

http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=123

replaces d3d9.dll in skyrim folder.

I have no problems running the game at high and 60 FPS. I may even add some more eye-candy. This is literally the best performing games I have ever played out of the box, and given Bethesda's track record, that is saying a LOT.

Use FRAPS or another external utility.

What's up with that DL site? It won't let me grab the file. It opens up a blank white box...and yes, I'm reged and logged in to the site.

So what does this file actually do? What's different about this DLL? Is this the same thing as the http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34778?

Edit: Looks like it makes Skyrim think my graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GS. Not sure why that would improve performance.

Oh and it sets b30GrassVS to 0 in the skyrimprefs.ini.

"This .dll will make your game run like Oblivion."

I usually don't download things when I have no idea what it is or does.

That didn't help my performance at all but someone in the comments said to disable AA and AF in the game and then force it in the graphics cards control panel. That increased my fps.
