Hey guys, I'm learning to play the guitar, and I'm fairly new (been playing about 6 months). I was looking at this video for some tips on sweep picking, and at the very beginning of the video this guy's playing a guitar riff that sounds awesome. sounds van halen ish, but reading the comments i dont think it is, As he replys to someone saying the same with "Thanks ! " He also says it should be tabbed out on his website, guitartricks. My internets too slow so i cant load it too check though

I thinks it's just more of the distortion/effect he has on the guitar that makes it sound Van Halenish.

It's not Panama but it sounds similar. Still, it doesn't look that hard you could probably just pick it up by watching him play it
