ArcheryAssassin Build

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 11:42 am

Primary Focus
- Archery
- Sneak

Secondary Focus
- Alchemy
- Enchanting

Partial Focus
- One Handed
- Restoration
- Light Armor

My current character has evidently come to a dead end. So I have decided that I am going to start the game again as an Archer/Assassin. I was wondering if you agreed with my perk focuses? The idea being I sneak around, one shot everything with my bow and then use daggers for close quarter combat. Alchemy would be used to create poisons for my arrows and enchanting for my daggers.

Am I doing it wrong?

While you're still starting out you may have to deal with enemies up close and personal, so your light armor and one-handed skills will be needed. Once your sneak gets high enough for you to remain undetected, and your bow damage benefits from skill and bonuses, sword and armor become an afterthought.

I'd go either all archery or all melee and focus the extra perks you save from "partial focus" into blacksmithing since that can add on a decent chunk of dps as well.

OP I am having the same issue. I love archery hands down, but the thought of doing huge damaging backstabs is just pure awesome, but I wanna do a few crafting professions too.

So it kinda makes it pointless almost to specialize in both assassin and stealth archery...it's almost like we have to pick one or the other and go that way..

I wouldn't bother spending any perks on one handed, you'll find as you progress with sneak and archery the bow becomes your...everything.

Okay then I'll use them points for Blacksmithing :)
