Can I please just be allowed to drop quest items no matter w

I have about 30 to 40 pounds of undroppable items in my inventory right now just because they are quest items and i'm positive the ones I want to drop aren't used for anything else, they just bugged and I kept them after the quest ended. I hate this ongoing trend in bethesda games, in oblivion i had about 50 to 60 pounds and even more items that didn't weigh anything stuck in my inventory because of this, the same thing goes for fallout although in fallout most of them weighed nothing so it didn't bug then. I get that they don't want us to drop stuff and lose it and then come here and whine that we lost it so the quest is broken but now i'm doing the opposite because I have all this crap with me that I don't want/need.

Quest Items in Skyrim have no weight. The game will show a weight but it won't actually encumber your character.

Well thats not a big deal then but I still have a crap ton of useless items stuck in my inventory but if they don't weigh anything I guess I can svck it up, the only ones that seem to weigh anything are the instruments that I just got doing the bards college quests which got stuck in my inventory after "giving" them to the person asking for the instrument.

Immediately to be followed by, "OMG! It's so stupid that I can drop my quest items! I accidentally dropped an item I need for a quest and now I don't remember/know where said item is! The game is broken!"

Honestly if someone is dumb enough to drop a quest item or other important item while still on the quest then their just dumb or it's their first time playing, It would be like if you walked into a dungeon saw one of the dragon claw keys and said "nope thats useless crap" and threw it away some where.

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v482/jasonsteele/Game%20Stuff/?action=view¤t=ScreenShot17.jpg. I can't drop either. I'm not sure if both are truly quest items, or if the game has marked all Grand Staff of Charming as quest items.

I dropped everything I could to make sure and sure enough, Encumbrance was 0/300. That's quest items and keys only.

You could go finish some of those quests. I'm glad I can't sell or drop quest iteams by mistake as my inventory is at max when I go to sell stuff or when I'm dropping loot for better loot.
