I personally love pretty much all of it.

"Well although it's always crowded, you still can find some room!"

Why do you think about his music? Which song by him is your favorite?

I find whenever I like something Elvis has done, it's been done better by some obscure new orleans bluesman.

I'm definitely a fan of Elvis Presley. I only own one album though, and it's a "Greatist Hits" collection of about 20 songs. My favorite songs are Heartbreak Hotel, Surrender, Are You Lonesome Tonight?, and Hound Dog. Most of everything, probably all of it, is good, though.

Go Fabian! ==> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVDB6Ils714

One thing I like about Elvis is that he felt bad about not writing his own songs.

Edit: I have nothing against Elvis so I don't know why I said "one thing I like" that implies its the only thing I like about him. Should have worded that better.

I don't think so, if you had said "The one thing I like" instead of "One thing I like" you'd be implying you only like one aspect of the guy.

Well thats good, cause I don't have anything agaist him.

I would say "A Little Less Conversation" is the one I like the most.

As a son of a die-hard Elvis fan with thousands of records (including hundreds of Elvis) decorating our home, I can't help but to like Elvis since I've listened to him all my life I wanted it or not.

My definite favorite is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NQwiGTXoRU.
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdmIhCkp3p4&feature=related is pretty epic too.

I don't like him too much but I think he's more important to music than the Beetles or however you spell it.

The Beatles.

Which is, speaking of it, a band I consider mostly overrated along with Metallica but of course I can't just go saying such things in public.
But Elvis, he's the King!

Fixd. The guy didn't even write his own songs. He was influential as an entertainer, in my opinion, as opposed to a musician.

What do I think of Elvis?

Personally I find him a bit over rated, that being said I do find some of his songs ok.

Not my cup of tea personally, but I can understand why people like him so much. Looking back, what surprises me now is that I'd never heard of him until his death and found myself wondering why one of my schoolmates was in tears at the news; I think her parents were big Elvis fans, mine were more into the Stones and the Beatles.

Ehhh, I like his music, but being a life long Mempis resident, I live right by Graceland, so to me, going to Graceland isn't some important pilgramage to me like it might be. Though I do enjoy Elvis Week, you see a lot of cute English girls there.

I'm not a big fan, but I do like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJsQSb9RFo0. Only because it's on the Forrest Gump soundtrack though. :P
