Besides tearing, no problems at all for me

Since it was released on Steam at 02:00 CET i could finally install and play my retail version. Texture popping was almost not noticable (because very fast and only at a few spots) when i looked around after leaving the survival pod. Have tearing though. Game runs fast and smooth while looking good, no crashes. I′m currently still playing the first mission (Ghost Hideout) and didn′t see any texture popping there. Some object textures don′t look very nice when getting close but i′m sure this will be fixed. The Leveldesign and gameplay is awesome so far. I will try VSync to get rid of the tearing and i′m looking forward to continue the campain. Nice game.

My System:
AMD Phenom II x4 955 3,61 Ghz
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
4 GB
Windows 7 64 Bit
GeForce GTX480 (Core 763 Mhz, Shaders 1526 Mhz, Memory 1900 Mhz)

This is barely a spoiler all it is is a level name, but I'll be interested in what happens once you reach this part. If you really don't want to know don't read below this.

Tell us what happens when you get to mutant bash tv. If you don't crash there then you're good to go.

I got there but there is grid line i guess if you wanna call it.
I can describe it as a line of thin water!

Im already in subway town and i have had no issues. Screen tearing was all I had but all you have to do is force enable VSYNC in your driver. How have you not figured that out yet? Its so easy on nvidia cards. Force enable vsync and tripple buffering and BAM, no screen tearing, game locked at a satisfying 60fps. I have had no crashes or other problems, that game looks great except when up close to a texture. If you are getting grid lines, try disabling or turning down aniso-filtering. If you force that on in the nvidia driver, turn it back to "application controlled" and gridlines will go away.

Still problem is there.
Anyway, do you know how to show the fps?
I typed com_showFPS 1 in console nothing works.

Thanks.
