Ok, so the past week everyone has been [censored]ing and moaning about how Rage runs soooo bad on everyones PC. Ok, not everyone, but at least 50% of the pop have been saying this. Now I have a 1 1/2 year old Asus Gaming LAptop, with 4gig RAM, 2 gig RB RAM, 2 gig Video Card (Nvidia 360m), and Windows 7 64 bit. Now I upped the texture cache size to 8042, and even from the beginning, it ran like a dream. I mean, once you fix the textures, this game looks amazing no matter what. Oh also, Pop up Textures, I have 0. I do 360degree turn, 180, no pop up. Once they load, thats it. Anyways, just wanted to show you all there is hope, and ID keep it up. I understand you may have been pushed by Bethesda to rush this out a bit early out of QA, but get the patch out and things will be fine. Sorry for [censored] iphone quality.

P.S. I actually am stopping myself from playing because I don't want it to end too soon.

P.P.S. Dark Souls rocks. If you svck at it you svck at games... Welcome to the NES days.

Please go play wasteland legends multiplayer and then come back. (Its fun as hell, but its really really glitchy for me and i have campaign mode perfectly setup atm).

Edit: Users who buy a brand new PC game should not have to create numerous folders and config files to get the game working as it should be, its sloppy, unprofessional and rushed.

Well since so many people have problems with this game, i'm sure that id was aware of this issues in PC version. They had 2 choices:

1. Release the game on X360,PS3 and PC at the same time and patch PC version later.

2. Delay PC version,fix it and then release it just in time when Battlefield 3, Modern warfare 3 and Skyrim rule the market and suffer lower sales because of that.

you guys are both completely right. I was just very surprised about it running so well. This is not me bragging or trying to make others who arent so lucky feel bad. I just want you all to have hope. These issues will be fixed soon, and when they do, I really think this is an amazing game. Thanks for the MP tip too buddy!

EDIT: You are right too, we as gamers should not have to adjust configs and do things the developer obviously should have done.

3. Holiday shopping season starts in 2 months... fix the game in those 7 or so weeks before thanksgiving and make world /bowdown.

It helped for the lagging. But still some problems. Slow reading for graphics.. blur or slow downloading for graphics when you look left or right. any ideas how to fix.
